For a long time I preached grace and meant every word of it. But something was missing — and it took a global pandemic, a season of stillness, and a mentor opening the scriptures in a way I’d never heard before for me to finally find language for what it was.
The missing piece was the conscience. The interior place where the Spirit of God communicates. Where correction arrives as love rather than condemnation. Where genuine Godly choices become possible not because someone is watching — but because something in you has been formed to recognise what is true.
This devotional is my attempt to hand that to people. Seven days in the grace that doesn’t just forgive you — it grounds you. Written for the person new to faith looking for something solid to stand on, and for the person who’s been around long enough to be tired of performing.
You Were Never the Project: Discovering the Grace That Loved You Before You Were Good is coming this summer.
You’ll hear about it here first.
